Has anyone actually seen an NM engine? Did we get them in the UK?

I forgot something, initially the NM was buit for the Italian requirements :

all engines above 2 liter were (and still ???) overtaxed that's why they built a 1994 cm3.

They were found on Coupé & limo T89 audi 90

            Coupé 20V 2.0E 1989 1994 cc/160 ch 339 cars
            Coupé 20V 2.0E quattro 1989 1994 cc/160 ch 1 470 cars

Thanks. That would add up with what I had heard somewhere too.

How could I miss the RR? Well I had a hard day yesterday, and I missed the 'NA' in the title anyway.
                I didn't know a 1B was a 20V.

                      Right !!!!!
                      My mistake

                      th 1B is a 10V turbo 200 HP !!!

the Audi 200 20VT engine code is 3B (quite strange as it is probably a little different in a 200 than in a S2).

I've got NM engine in coupe quattro, so if you need to know something I will try to help you
3B in 200 20V is exactly the same engine like in S2, ECU is probably mapped different due to different characteristics of the car. I've got 3B taken from 200 20V installed in my Type 85 90 quattro.

Not anymore overtaxed above two liters..........it was based on a different percentage in VAT 38% instead of 19% over two liters
road tax nowadays goes on kilowatts the more you have the more you pay
not enough if you own a euro0/euro1/euro2/euro3 tou pay even more accordingly

The 2 liters 20 valves for the italian market was IMHO........ crap!

my RS2 road tax this year it's 983,42 euros

Actually no they are not. 3B200 and RR are closer to each other.
                            Few 3B S2 and 200 differences:
                            -Flywheel
                            -Breather
-Oil pan if S2 with A/C
                            -Boost pipe by cam cover
                            -ECU SW slightly different

NM engined cars were also imported to Finland but not too many.

I have an 90 sedan with NM engine. One of the few in Finland. The engine has absolutely no torque at all. Makes some power between 4200-7000
                              Here's the identification sticker.
