Boost value on RS2 turbo?

Hi,

What are the boost limits for an RS2 turbo, what boost values do people that run chipped RS2 have? Or what boost values do people have that have RS2'ed there coupe?

Is it something like 1.7 bar peak at 5500 RPM and then dropping to 1.1 bar at redline?

Iam going to use a RS2 turbo on my 3b instead of the hohenester hybrid, since I want more boost.

Don't go over 1.8 bar. the turbo won't last long then.

Ok, so something like 1.6 bar peak and then dropping to 1.1 bar at redline. Does that seem ok on RS2 turbo or should i keep the boost even further down?

1.6 is ok , good power and effiency .

My 93 S4 (AAN) is RS2'd with MRC software. My max boost is about 26.2 psi (TDS-1 equipped) or about 1.79 Bar. I have other (non-MRC) software that runs to 28 psi (+) or about 1.93 Bar. Forget the turbo issue, the pinging (pinking) is terrible. But it can make 317 hp at the wheels on a four wheel dyno (with 9L of toluene in with 71 L of 94 (RON+MON)/2.)
