You could do with a reverse drill bit type thingie to get that out....
So it definately screw in? It doesn't have any sort of hey part to allow it to be screwed in.
I obviously can't drill it out as bits of metal will be sucked into the engine! Will have to use an "esay out", but this will only work if it is a screw in item.
Where can I get a replacement from?

So thats the WG feed from the turbo? That would mean the Wastegate hasn't been opening
I'm pretty sure its threaded, hasn't someone got an old k24 they can have a look at and get the part from? If I still had my old turbo I'd be out there now..

Nope, its the vac pipe that goes from the bottom of the plenum chamber, across the fron to the engine and into the DV. The snapped part is on the plenum.

Ah, ok, in that case I think its probably a push fit. Can you thread it and use a bolt and bit of tube to pull it out?

On my RS2 manifold its at the front of the car and its definitely a screw in pipe fitting.

You can see it on the right in this pic

Ok, don't have a tap set, nor bolts nor tube, great!

Where do I get a replacement hose tail then, or should I get a bolt in one?

                  Just edited my post above..

If you have to fit a new one I would go for a screw in as per the RS2 manifold, I dont really know how they make those push in ones stay put..

Really appreciate the offer mate but I'm up in Ellesmere Port, near Chester. A bit of a hike just for some taps. WIll prob. go down to a mates to sort today. PITA though. Do you reckon I tap the hole that is left and fit a bolt in tail or use another push in?

Cant you just block up that hole with a small bolt and some plumbers tape and then "T" in to another vacuum hose running out of the IM. That would be the easiest option for the time being i think.

I'm of the "if you are gonna do a job properly ......" school of thought.
Car isn't being used ATM anyway. Getting belts and possibly clutch on Monday.
If I was using it daily then I would do a temp fix on it.

I'm not sure this part exists on it's own. No listing for it in the FA under the AAN manifold or the 3B, ABY or ADU.
I seem to remember this discussion years ago and a part number being thrown around that wasn't recognised. I'm sure Marty from VAGparts was on the case in the thread.

                            I'll have a hunt.

Doesn't seem to be resolved. I think a custom job with a srew in item will be needed! Has no one else had this problem? Don't fancy taking the vac off another pipe with a T piece, just don't like botch jobs!
