errr... yes!!! My rad still has bits of skin and blood still on it from swapping the alternator!!!
So Az, does the cotton reel type pressure sender unscrew or does it pull out?
Do you know if there are any copper banjos or o-rings that could do with replacing when i stick the lot back in?

nah the lot seal to the block. don't use any gasket stuff or alike. just do them up nice and tight. The cotton reel one I am gussing is the one just bellow the big prssure sender with only one wire on it... Big spanner.....
No o rings as such, poss a copper crush washer, bout it really, just make sure they are done up properly or they will seep oil down the block..... Hint deal with the pressure sender first matey so you can get to the spanner bit under the tin can... You know what I mean

Not really, now I have swapped in the low mileage 7A with a new different pressure sensor - I get over 2 bar at warm idle now so not worried about the bearings or pump - but still only over reads 4bar max, I think its the gauge itself tbh
I do have a 100psi pressure gauge I bought to test it properly, but never go around to making up a hose to connect it - was going to screw it in place of the white pressure switch and test cold start pressure, warm idle and warm 4k rpm...
