Im having a similar issue on mine again now, occasionally when you pull upto a junction and depress clutch the car stalls. But it is intermittment. Im gonna do a boost leak test in the next few days since that is probably the most likely cause. What sensors control the ISV actuation?

Greg i reckon Robs posts are spot on, mine did this for a month and i tested every thing atleast twice

Then checked the timming pin one day when the car would not start and it was gone

My car was stalling when pulling up to juctions etc. Cleaned the Idle Controller, this improved things but didn't fix them.
Then I was suffering from both stalling and the judder under WOT. Thought, "aha, boost leak", but noooo.
I took off my connector from the MAF, cleaned it and reattached firmly.
          Fixed and perfect.
You may have poor connections, bent connectors or even broken wires/connectors. I'd give it a go.

Lost my rag in the end mate, Went round the engine bay with a can of IPA and lashed it all over every connector I could find.
Touch wood it appears to have gone away

I still think I had a dickey G28 as the air-con compressor dose not cut the engine out anymore and the idle dose appear smoother. Not going to through the old G28 away though

Cheers for all the help with this
