If you're serious about stopping then I wouldn't bother with EBC products. They are nice for your daily driver as an OE replacement but there are much better products around such as the DS2500s that have been mentioned.1994 Audi S2 Avant - in pieces
2006 Skoda Octavia vRS 2.0TFSi - goes fast

£500 to spend on an already healthy (we think) UrS6. I would go with a nice FMIC installation - lower airtemps are always good. Silicon hoses are great insurance for air-leak protection - but I know they are expensive from the usual Samco outlets. Thats gonna burn a big dent in the £500. I'd also suggest a brake pad upgrade for the remainder - OR - a set of Powerflex bushes for the wishbones. Nice improvement in handling for little money with no increase in road noise that I can detect.

Yes, I think this would be the best use for my money. Significant difference for relatively little outlay. A bit like the homefry!£500 to spend on an already healthy (we think) UrS6. I think the car is at full health (270bhp) apart from the usual MAF connector issue. Resolves with a clean and a wiggle.:mischeif:UrS6 - Homefry, Bailey DV, PiperX filter, Samco hoses, H&R springs, 3" D/P back zorst, 270bhp and 260ftlb

If you want a laugh have a look through his feedback for people who actually bought one. Like the guy with a Lancia Gamma Coupe, who shortly after bought a set of valves and head gaskets

Are your front barkes the HP2 type (4 little pads per caliper)? If so I'm not sure if they do DS's for this caliper? Would not bother with EBC red stuff, just stick with standard ones. Although the brakes are not the best, they can take quite a bit heat, they outlasted my mates S3 stock brakes by a long way!
If gonna replace with anything, save up and get some big'uns (Cayennes highly recommended)
If you've been running 270bhp for a while I would check that the sh*te paper HG isn't on it's way out (if hasn't been replaced already) It wasn't far away from your milage and spec that mine decided to find a weak spot. Not that I'm trying to cast a cloud on your money spending spree!!! Enjoy and if you go with the FMIC, remember to take plenty of how to pictures as it's a job on my list

. With silicone hoses and FMIC that'll be the £500 spent.
