Want something that works even with a bigger turbo and more boost, which I probably will get in the future...
Pretty neat spec, if your going bigger in the future then 8:1 CR would be a good investment but bigger than a 35/40? I take it it won't be an everyday car

No, I've got another car as a daily driver, but I'm planning to drive to gatherings & meetings, track days etc, and some cruising.

After the last rebuild (including the 35/40) I took some longer trips with it without any bigger problems besides that the idle went awol pretty often. And of course the time when I ended up tightening the oil cooler fittings, with probably tools made early in the 19th century, on an island in the middle of the Baltic Sea!
But that was of course with not so aggressive cams and stock comp ratio.

With an order of 2 sets I can supply these at £530 .
With an order of 3 sets I can supply these at £510.
Sets have to be same spec.

These applies to any size pistons from 81mm to 83mm with in between sizes.

          Oh, that certainly sounds competitive!

What piston specs are the price for? Options etc.

That is for whatever CR and size of bore. This is for the basic design with no extras.
Rings are obviously included. Note that at that price it has to be for identical sets.

              Ok!

I don't know what options Jay had in mind? I was thinking of perhaps acc grooves, cr grooves, heavy duty wrist pins, dual pin oilers? But I haven't decided...

              Delivery times?

And just in case I'm the only one who wants a certain spec - price for a single set, if possible?

              Thanks,
              Floddy

Personaly I would go for the racing piston with wasted skirt, ceramic coated deck, total seal rings, uprated pins. nearly 80gms lighter then basic piston. Good for over 800BHP.
Approx. 200gbp more per set but will have to confirm price.
                Delivery approx. 4 weeks.

I'm also looking for some pistons/conrods and recently found this company on the net.

They use pistons from Wössner, a german company: http://www.woessner-kolben.de/

I haven't finalised what i'm after yet and unfortunately engine parts have been put on hold for the next month or two... I'm going 82.5mm bore, 8.5:1 CR. total seal rings and larger gudgeon pins would be nice but we'll see what budget allows.

Well, I'm in a bit of a hurry (or so I think), but I'll definately keep this option in mind. You never know what happens...
