Can I use wastegate from, say 200TQ or other model?

I was wondering if it is possible to use the wastegate from a 200TQ older models with the KW engine or is this a no go?`

I need to get my hands on a cheap wastegate and get it repaired since my own is a bit knackered. But I dont fancy taking my own off, since I need to drive the car around

I'm pretty sure its the same apart from the spring and adjustment.

Should be the same. The only difference is 10vt vs 20vt as far as fitting to the mani. Although a 10vt WG can be fitted to a 20vt. The only difference on 10vt WG's that I know of is on face of the valve itself. Later MC2/1B etc have a hex instead of a slot to hold it in place when removing the nut to remove the diaphragm.

its not the same. smaller diameter inside, but you can use with normal size turbo on normal pressure.
