Engine mounts - threads?

Mounts will fit most Audi I5 including UrQuattro, 4000/Coupe GT, 80/90/Coupe Quattro, 5000, 100, 200, S4 and others. Note, some non-US cars use an offset-style mount, these will not fit that application, we will have those available soon.

so will those fit an aby? I'm still not sure what the difference is with 3b and aby mounts. sorry

No mate, they don't yet do a mount for the ABY Chassis, but they would work with an ABY engine on a 3B or a CQ chassis if that makes sense?

The ABY is offset style mounts, they don't do them yet it just says soon

its the engine mounds that are different, not the chassis mounts, if you rly rly want them you could always fit 7A or 3B engine mounts.

4sre! that's what I thought ciaran was saying about the aby mounts being offset at 1 and 5 o'clock type thing rather than 12 and 6 then.

Alex - sound s tad extreme to do another reshell just for the 034 mounts but I do like a challenge.

its the engine mounds that are different, not the chassis mounts, if you rly rly want them you could always fit 7A or 3B engine mounts.

No you cannot, it's the chassis that is different between the ABY and 3B which is why the mounts have the offset to put them in the same position.

This has been confirmed in my thread I asked the same confirmation.

RE2500 (James) fit an ABY to his CQ but it didnt fit with his mounts, so rather than buy new aby mounts he swapped the engine mounts over....so he has an aby, in a CQ with CQ rubber oem mounts and KV engine mounts......at least thats what he told me....

That would be correct Anton as the CQ chassis puts the mounts in different position than the ABY.

So the CQ and 3B share the same chassis position the ABY differs.

The engine mount arms are the same on the 3b/aby and kv according to the family album

oh yeah.......wonder why he changed the motor mounts then.....maybe they were damaged, it was off Als written off car after all.....

There are three versions of the right hand mount one type for 3B, one for ABY and one for other 5 cylinder coupes. So the KV one must be a sort of hybrid of the other 3B/ABY?

what kind of money are we talking for new mounts gents? I believe i'll be needing new ones for the ABY i'm getting. Ciaran - you'll be just the chap to lend me a hand, having done your own (I know, I know i'm so good to you)

There are three versions of the right hand mount one type for 3B, one for ABY and one for other 5 cylinder coupes. So the KV one must be a sort of hybrid of the other 3B/ABY?

I thought there was the ABY one, then one for all other 5 cyl cars without A/C and one with A/C
