    i

am running this at the moment, and its working fine, garret T04e/kkk26, bolted straight on, but needed grinding for the wastegate to settle right. For the money you pay its a good one. Have been running it for 5000km now and works fine so far..

Yes as said before, if I'm not valuing my own time wrenching away on my car, then there is no real harm in testing it because they're so cheap.
Very true, it's a cheap upgrade thats the whole point

OK, I guess my question (asked here http://www.s2forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=31081) has been answered. I'm definitely buying one for my 200 20V.

Seems reasonable enough, please let us know if you ever encounter any problems with the EM, other than have to grind it off a bit when assembling.

I agree, anyone that encounters anything mentionable at all about this manifold when using it, pros or cons, please share it here with the community

Whats the verdict on this one? The 5 Cyl has no probs with a log manifold?

are you using this very cheap ex-manifold working perfectly??

if its plug-play with turbo,exhaust,wastegate.... its a good option for think in it because surelly 350hp are very enough for a lot of people like me here

Nice to hear someone tested it on here aswell.
I put the RS2 turbo on the STR, because I knew some day I would be upgrading to the GT3071R. I just needed a cheap and easy way to flow more than the S2 EM could do to bring at least potential to the RS2 turbo

However since I was again upgrading to the Garret GT3071R a bit sooner than I had foreseen, I replaced the STR EM with a Wagner Evo EM to be future proof and 100% sure it would flow enough for the new turbo.

On the picture you see where you have to grind away some material from the STR EM that I did 1 year ago.

                            why not tubular?

is there a reason other than the cracking which can be minimised if you A buy a decent tubular and B support the turbo.

Because tubular requires a modified or new down pipe, remove the airbox and either buy or fabricate a support. Sure a tubular would offer more power but it's not a simple bolt in job unlike the RS2, Wagner or STR fannymolds.

Bram's still runing the airbox on his with 3071.

Given a cast option I'd take it. With Wagner doing an uprated SQ manifold in the future it's looking good for cast manifolds.

Tubulars have their place especially in more exotic machines like yours Gazza and the MRC600 machine
