Hi friends!
I just see on the 1.8 20vt the "rehubicación" of the Diverter valve.
They put the valve between IC and admin collector. Because the recirculated air is very hot in the original position but now, teh air is "cold".

Anyone do this mod?
are you trying to say that in the 1.8t engines change the position of the diverter valve to relocate it just between the intercooler and the intake manifold true???

Hey friends!
Speaking in other foro (forocepos) they talk about change the DV´s hoses.
We have the DV´s circuit from turbo´s exit to turbo´s entrance. OK, but because that, the recirculated air is hot. Very hot.
But what happen if we send to DV, cold air from IC? It´s possible!
Only put other hose in "T" later of IC and send with a new hose the fresh air to the DV.
They do that in theirs 1.8 20vt.
The idea makes sense... Locating TBV after the IC so that it recircs cooler air than from its factory location at the turbo output.
Only concern I have is maybe some air pipe plumbing for little or no gain... When driving hard between the gears there will be these puffs of hot recirculated air from the TBV. Their purpose is to prevent turbo stall and actively help keep it spinning whilst between gears. The only way to get a measure of the increased air temp from this is to log it with factory TBV during some hot runs... Then log the same car with an atmospheric dump valve. If there is a significant improvement in intake air temp with dump valve then it might be worth doing - as long as turbo spool between gearshifts doesn't suffer as a result of no recirc effect.
Some people say that you should not dump air that passed the MAF because it would alter ... don't know what it would alter actually but heard that more than once...
But it's a fact that MAF measured air that isn't aviable anymore.
What do you think?
I don´t understand some things.
I know that the pressure is higher on turbo´s output it´s too dangerus? Some repros go up to 2bar and if my repro go up to 1.7bar, when I change the gears the uped pressure isn´t to high.
Other method will be put a Blow off valve with a strong spring in the original site and a recirculate valve in the IC´s output, true? The recirculate valve makes "his" work in normal driving and other makes when we drive hardy
Yes but in there, the post is ending; and in the other foro the people explain me moore and I have and idea. This idea:
one strong off valve and one DV in output of the IC
