Maybe there are some fuses for that ? I don't remember any, but check schematics.

You might need to buzz out the loom to check that the connection from Fuse 24 does actually get to the ISV and WGFV - it goes to the EVAP doobry as well.
There should be an ignition live to the wgfv. The fuse that controls it is one of the extra fuse holders along the side of the fusebox. It should be a 10a fuse.
Andy check the two connector blocks on the bulkhead like John suggested.
They can burn out sometimes and that can course all sorts of sensors to stop working.
They are 12pin (correct me if im wrong) and sit together in vertical position with rubber boots on each end, i think on a RHD aby they are attached to the bulkhead passenger side and are a bit of a fiddle to get apart.
If one is burnt out or at least partly burnt out (i had this in the RS2) then you can get replacements from Audi to repair the loom.

You should see +12V at the blue/red wire onto the WGFV, ISV and EVAP (and the afterrun pump controller)... Look at track 58 on sheet 5.
The source of track 58 is of course the fused side of FUse 24 - see sheet 2 and track 15. A faulty housing for Fuse 24 or the loom wiring which extends it onto the components will explain bad behavior even if the fuse is healthy.
ta paul, did see pic before on s2 cental. i did try at weekend to lift fuse box out as was tryin to remove leaves around it etc.
i wonder if its quite tite under and ive pulled summat. fuse 24 is fine, also maybe coincidence but instrument clocks now not workin.
