I've got the questions, hopefully someone has the answers?
Wanted to change my '95 ABY fuel pump with a like for like pump.
Opened up the lid of the actual tank and dislodged the white plastic inner cradle that the pump fits into, as I didn't realise that the two "clips" on either side can be pushed back slightly and the pump can be withdrawn carefully.
i.e. no need to twist the cradle the pump sits in and dislodge it.
So now the pump is out, but the inner cradle cannot be withdrawn to see how it goes back together, even though it is very "loose" in the outer plastic cradle / basket?
Does anyone have a photo of the white plastic cradle pieces taken apart so that I can see how they work or any BTDTs for the easy re-installation of the white inner plastic cradle and then the pump itself?
Any pointers or information would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
