just found this on the german bay. It looks like the 044 and i may be wrong but it seems to have a different bosch part number. Could this be a different model?

so basically the 044 to that have only difference the bar at which they deliver? when it is said @ x bar what does it mean? the amount of pressure that can safely operate OR at which pressure they are delivering that amount of fuel?

it means it delivers the indicated flow @ the given pressure. They are different for the different pumps, because it is likely an indication that the different pumps produce optimum flow at different operating pressures.
Bear in mind that with a 4 bar pressure regulator (which your engine uses stock) you would be running 6bar fuel pressure at 2 bar boost.

so if the 044 pump is optimal @ 5bar,then would this one with 8bar working pressure be better? Or just because it is 6bar instead of 8 it wont deliver it's max quality of fuel?
On the other hand,if an FPR of 5bar is used, then it gets closer to the 8bar figure. But what happens in the lower pressures? if im working at 1.7 to 1.8bar for example...
Say 044 Typ1 flows 200 l/h at 5bar system pressure
and 044 Typ2 flows 200 l/h at 8bar system pressure
With a 4bar FPR and ~2bar boost you have approx 6bar system pressure... At this level only the Typ2 can provide 200 l/h of flow - but do you actually need that much ?
What is your target power level here ?
I can estimate the fuel flow required from that. Memory is you have something like 550cc injectors already so thats good for ~550bhp territory on a 5-pot engine - factoring in the 4bar FPR gives decent headroom. Ball park estimate then says you need circa 165 l/h at the point where you are making max power - what is the boost level at that point ?
The other thing I should mention is that I do not recommend you exceed 7 bar rail pressure. Any of my customers that run near 3bar boost I typically dial down to 3bar base fuel pressure. Sometimes fuel injectors (and pumps for that matter) can begin to behave strangely over 7bar rail pressure.

The pressure differential across the injectors is static, there shouldn't be any 'strange behavior' under boost that isn't there at any other running condition, for the injectors. As far as the injector is physically concerned the fuel pressure stays static.
