i might be looking at it completly wrong but i don't see anyway it will fit with the power steering pump where it is
the pulley on mine comes up inline with the manafold. or is this just something for the 3b?
Simon.
S.P.S. TUNING
'93 ABY S2.... sold
me thinks RR URQ next :mischeif:
Hacke is one of the guys who has tilted the main rad for more room.
And about the power steering pump - it's the same on both 3B/ABY - and it fits. But I can't say there is much room left... On Tacq's old car the pump is in a very low postition with a bit shorter belt, and on mine the tightening mechanism is cut off.
The worse part is the clearance to the hood - that can get REALLY tight.
I don't know what RS tuning take, we got a special price since I know them. I'm pretty sure that they had the price on their homepage but now its's gone...
Furunäs has one model for 550eur, one for 770eur with some internal baffeling and better flow, and some specials for 1000+ euros for race use with separate chambers and cones(?) and stuff. All prices is plus an original manifold to trade in.
Nice stuff. Did you guys move the MAF to between the IC and the throttle body or is it still on the other side? Or are you running speed-density?
The MAF is still on the inlet side of the turbo. Zaphod is going to have it this way, but I'm going to remove it, jump on it and drive over it a few times next year when i get my Haltech into place.
Floddy on the Furunäs what do you have to do to the IM to get it to fit the car? are there any extra pipes etc you need to add, holes to drill etc to fit it?
