Changing my rods, what else do I need? I made a list!
Jonas, there are times when buying from AUDI makes sense, with gaskets, it isn't so. You get same Reinz gaskets from dealer (in Reinz packages to boot)... Somewhere else the same "set" will be cheaper
All quattro products have been dermatologically tested, and are safe for daily use.
@gedu:
Just to be sure, can you buy the Reinz gasket set from an Audi dealer?
It is not that I don't appreciate the hint to get something cheaper. But if I don't get it from my audi dealer in Germany, then it won't be free and I will have to pay myself Which is something I really don't want to do.
Ok Jonas. Forget the Reinz numbers then.
Get 034 198 011 B and 034 198 012 M for the same block and head gasket sets, just with Audi stickers over the Reinz ones.
Do you by any chance now what these sets of gasket contains? Already ordered the gaskets shown in the first post.
Every gasket, seal and o-ring that is in or in contact with the head and block. I guess if you're not paying then there is no problem with ordering them all separate.
