The car feels like its missing 100bhp its very smooth but feels like theres no torque

,we will try my ecu ,then change the dv to something abit more substantial ,i dont think its a boost leak as its not even trying to make lots of boost.

Replaced all the original vacuum line with silicone today, and replaced the std diverter valve, which wasn't even a 710N, with a Milltek Hyperboost valve. Still no joy, only getting 1bar boost

Tried unplugging the WGFV and boost dropped to 0.4bar, so I'm thinking the valve is duff?
@Bram, the turbo has only done 103K so it should be OK, Paul says that it seemed to loose power quickly which would point to something breaking.

Dodgy MFTS? Try disconnecting it Andy. I remember Robo had a low boost problem on his RS2 a few years back. QST had the car for a couple of weeks and couldnt diagnose the problem and gave up. Think it was Mihnea who solved it in 10mins at one of the ADI's at combe.

If the MFTS is faulty does it not just cut the signal to the WGFV, resulting in mechanical boost, or 0.4bar? If this was the case he'd be getting 0.4bar not 1bar. It's like the WGFV is working but not properly.

Yes, so it does, just read some old posts about Robo's problem and it was only going to 0.4bar (i thought it was more then that)
Is the WGFV fairly new? I had a new one fail once, not long after fitting it.

It could be a dodgy N75, and it is a cheap to change. Perhaps it is sticking a bit so it wont pulse correctly. I remember changing one that broke into 3 pieces.

Fitted a new WGFV today and still no joy

Next move is to take the CAT off to check that it's not blocked in any way. Anybody got any other ideas?

If it happened when the exhaust was changed I'd go for a blockage, maybe something not right with the silencer or cat?
