034 are a Wagner retailer you should be able to buy from them or you can PM Lupo911 on here ( aka Carsten Wagner ) and ask him about it.

I would consider HE221W that has 43mm billet compressor wheel. Turbine wheel is 45mm. Allegedly this turbo did with 2.0 16v Opel engine 575nm@4760rpm, 400nm@3000rpm and 312kw@5700rpm (0.9 bar).

This is what I found from internet.

I didnt know they were, ill have to ask them about that. Can that manifold use the stock wastgate? Would it be bad to use the stock wastegate with the Holset HX35?

Stock wastegate is fine, top tip ditch the OEM flexi tube from the wastegate. If you look at it the internal pipe in the flexi is only an 1" thick!

Replaced mine with a 2" flexi pipe custom made

We have tested a sweet turbo which will fit ur setup perfect !
Holset H1a its a smaller turbo then the hx35 which will give u bad lag ! The H1 is really fast spooling turbo and is empty right above 400 hp .
We used a setup of 7a cams, H-Beam rods ,633cc bosch injectors , stock remapped Motronic ecu, 300 kPa mapsensor, 3 inch exhaust, modded Rs2 exhaust manifold. Boost setup 1,7 kgs.

            Worked nice

That sounds like a very good way to go. But the reason i picked the hx35 is because they are really easy to find in the US. Ive seen a few guys use it who dont have bad lag at all. I also know a guy using an H1C with a 12cm exhaust housing (from an hx35).

As far as rods go, im going to keep my stock ones for now and run about 350whp until i can get some forged H-Beams.

I have concidered remapping the Motronic ecu, but i think VEMS would be the smarter way to go for me because i think it would be easier to change the tune/map on it if i change things like injectors, turbo, cams, etc.

              What do you think?

Hx35 is not a bad choice , you will run the turbo on 40-50% capacity though , its good to know that it is much more to go

Its the smartest way to go for the VEMS , due to every changes you do mechanical u also have to make new chips to motronic ecu. So in the long run you will be able to save money to choose VEMS.

                Good luck with the Holset

Just listen to the amazing sound from these turbos

hx40 made 1.7bar of boost on 3d gear at about 4000-4200rpm on adu cams(RS2 engine) and vems. HX35 should spool earlier. I believe you got more lag on yours because of the 7A cams

It says something about Holset Pro52 , never heard about it either ?

Its a different flange to the stock RS2 manifold , but u can mod it so it will fit

If I havent bought the Precision Turbo I would test a big truck Holset. Lots of fast drag Audis in Sweden is using the Holset turbos.. really popular Turbos with nice push

My brother is using a Holset HX60 to his Bmw M5 project . Im curious to see the results here .

What do you think about just modding the stock AAN manifold for the holset? I know wont flow as good, but would it damage anything?
