hello guys i doing some changes on the ecu , chips , as i dont have some large euros to expend i will do a small one , for now . the chips are from fastech , i will get 300 hp +/- . for now some pics of the ecu with the original chips its still a virgin jeje.
now im going to take the ecu to welding the supports for the new chips , and tomorrow more pics whith the new chips , and some coments about the results , thanks , best regards
1.5 overboost is maximum with the 250kpa pressure sensor, cause you have to calculate boost + ambient pressure < 250kpa, so 1.5 + 1024mbar = 2.5bar = 250kpa.

Maybe your chip is aligned for a heavier WG spring, might be the reason for the 'nervous' boost..

yes but if it gives 1.6 or more the ecu enters in limp mode but however the map should not limited the boost bars. right ?

If you read more than 1.5 bar on your boost gauge ..
a) the ambient pressure (as mesured and reported to the ecu by the ambient pressure sensor F96 aka altitude sensor) is very low. Check your F96 if you haven't yet: http://www.s2forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=31676
b) the pressure line to the ecu is not ok (if the line is closed somehow, the turbo may spin to death)
hope this helps a bit

If your running stock K24 turbo then you will properly kill the turbo if you run much more then 1.5 bar boost. Also I would not expect much more then 280-290 BHP on a chip alone.
