He beat me to the final bid... I forgot what time the auction ended and missed it

If he doesn't want to use it and decided to sell, drop me a line, but it would have to be by the end of May

I was hoping to see a write-up from prj on his experience with one by now, I am hoping to have a little first-hand experience of it this week

nothing wrong with that, it tops out at +40% anyway no matter what number you put in there. all that does is change how fast it ramps up under boost.

haven't seen anything different with this.

Thanks for chiming in Marc, Always enjoy your comments!

    Coil charge time 30!

Map Corr set to 0 needs to be 100

It's suppose to be for Alpha N correction but Pnanassy, GintsK and Mattias say it should be set to 100 so that it is ignored in any calculations

I'm sure Vas had a thread on it as well its linked to firmware 1.1.48

    @Jamo
are you talking about the RPM/MAP Map Corr? What does it do? I have it set to 0 also.

Please try to make a log drive at 3000-3100 and press full throttle till 7000. That way we can see how your boost behaves and tell if the dip in the dyno run is caused by this.
that jump might be clutch slipping.

Most Motronic documents state it is around 95%.
Only way to find out for sure is to use a scope.

If you do not get surge on VEMS that means it's spooling slower.
    That's pretty damn simple.

Reason you had horrid spool on Motronic, is because your tuner conveniently just set WGDC to 70%, and he did that everywhere for some reason, starting from 900 rpm.
Maybe because he did not know the axis values for the N75 map.
Correct way to map around surge is to set WGDC and target boost lower only in the area where there is surge, not all over the map and mess up spool. And there is no reason to set it as low as 70%... that hurts spool really badly.

In an aftermarket ECU, it would be correct to use gear-dependent boost control.

    P.S.
You said you had surge at 2600 rpm. Well, in your Motronic target boost map, at 2600 RPM the target boost is max. Meaning literally "unlimited". I am sure if you do this on VEMS you will have surge too..
