I don't think there's the space to get grips on that bolt..

Granted there is not much, but I think you could get on vertically (not the best way, but you really would be amazed at what vise-grips will undo!)
By the way, i am not connected to the company! I have just wasted enough time and money on other alternatives to never but a different make again!Comment

Drilling would be my last resort too.
You will find that the right torx bit, or better still multi spline bit, hammered in will do the job best. It can also be handy to get a set of vise-grips on the extension rather than using the ratchet, as you apply pressure keeping the extension square, get someone else to hammer the top of the extension fairly hard, keep doing this while applying constant pressure with the grips. this jarring of the hammering action will break the corrosion in the threads and it will suddenly release. Give it as much pressure as you can on the grips without thinking that the multi spline is going to start to slip.Comment

Yes, you twist it, giving it constant pressure, while at the same time hammering it. Not so much twisting force that the bolt rounds again, enough to slacken is should it not be siezed. The hammering will break the corrosion and the bolt will suddenly turn. Fairly sharp dunts with the hammer in a 0.5Hz or so fashion

yes really you need to give it as much shock as possible as this will help to loosen the corrosion. A little penetrating oil like wd40 will do it good as well.Comment

Also rather than drilling it, if that doesn't work (get yourself a nice Torx and multi spline bit set first) then I would remove the WG and get grips on it. You will spend more time drilling it and pr1cking about that way than just taking the WG off and getting grips on it...Comment
