    OIL Catch tank??

    Guys I have an issue.

On 1.2bar boost engine throw oil from "crankcase ventilation" so catch tank need to be made. Question is where I should connect the return pipe of the catch tank to avoid actually the presure form housing itself to throw oil through the return pipe as well?
Basically I need some part of the engine where presure is low so that the OIL flow back in to the engine without risk to be throw or keep in the tank?

Sorry I'm not very familiar with catch tanks so i need advice...

You shouldn't be blowing oil out at 1.2Bar, sounds like you're pressurising the crankcase, have you still got the standard PCV system in and if so have you checked the one way valve? Are all the PCV pipes clean inside and in good condition?

BY PCV - If your reffering original breading system it is gone.

Car is with reversed turbo piping, tubular exhaust mani, GT3076R 0.82 AR, 630cc injectors, - it is prepare for 500hp.

With this turbo it not unusual to blow oil on this presure.

The system takes a while to understand. The thing to do here is to simplify it as much as possible.

What turbo / power are you running?

Ok I maybe exaggerated the case. Because OIL blow is poor but still I would like to have Catch tank to avoid oil lose and the smell inside

            Setup:
            Garrett GT3076R .82AR,
            630cc injectors,
            7A cams,
reverse turbo lines and intake mani,
            Greddy boost controller,
            KMS - ECU
            and many more

For now car is setup only 1.2 boost before the dyno runs and final setup. It will push hopefully to 1.9 boost and more then 500hp.

Nobody can't tell for sure how much hp is now but on 1.2 boost is very fast i can't imagine what will be on 1.9

As far I know there is many ways to make a catch tank depends what you require:
            1. Some say that it is not recommended the catch oil to be drain back in to engine because it contains water due to condensation in the tank??????
In this case catch tank design will be really simple.

            2. The design that I would like to have is somehow to drain oil back into the engine. But question is where I could connect the draining pipe without risking oil to be blow away from there as well? Such design is it possible ?
