It will come up the pipe. no problem as long as the hose used is proper oil hose.
Top up to dip stick level, about an egg cups worth!

Proper oil hose is used, but how far up will it come? How bad can it be?

it will only come up to the oil level in the sump. Not bad in any way.

Vas, as Rob says, it's naff all. A quick calculation shows it's less than 50ml for a 15cm length; an overestimate for sure.

i opened the valve yesterday, and rechecked the oil level. it handt moved at all. Ill recheck it today, but it should be fine, as i agree, it doesnt seem to that much of a volume.

i have used double clips on the 90deg bend and the fumuto valve, for extra security!
