    Bailey DV30 dump valve

Since removing the airbox and using a K & N filter I've noticed there is much more noise from the dump valve. I'm currently using a Milltek hyperboost, but Bailey claim their DV30 is much quieter than other piston type valves.

Can anybody using one of these confirm this?

It is however the Baileys dump valve are a pain in the ****, the piston in them sticks alot and you have to lubricate it at regular intervals

The loudness isn't going to be greatly reduced IMO, the noise is coming from more air being recirced and the free flowing filter, you want to here it on my cone!

That's my fear, even running low boost I think it's too loud so I dread to think what it's like at higher boost levels.

Put a standard airbox and paper filter on it then, nice and quiet.

I wanted to keep my RS2 airbox but it will not fit with the Wagner manifold and 3071 turbo

Try wrapping the DV with exhaust rap to reduce the noise.

If that doesn't work you could just set fire to it .

Andy, I'm still running the RS2 Airbox, you just have to cut the foot off and make a little bracket.
