I use the 034 one and rate it. But then I wanted to use a 7A cam cover to tidy things up. I has also heard lots of horror stories about standard coil packs (albeit after a few miles)
Coil pack upgrade from 034 - Anyone using same ?

i use a set from EFIexpress. Have had no problems for over a year and a half now. + i have bought in a cheap price a complete 5 piece replacement coils and 2 long cables in case any of the coils go.
have to wonder though, when ones goes, what is the procedure to test which one it is? Is it with the car idling, you remove the coil plug one by one and see if the characteristic of the idle is changing? On the one that is gone, the idle would not change at all? am i getting it right?
would be nice for vems to tell us which one it is...!

034 replace failed coils for free under lifetime warranty to original purchaser. The postage still applies but it's better than a poke in the eye.two issues key for me
1) IF a coil fails in the EFI kit you can buy a replacement from anywhere that stocks the coil, if it fails on the 034 kit you have to buy from 034 and have a significant lead time.
2) EFI is $200 less
Pays your money takes your choice as both do the SAME job
BTW Repo has used both and couldn't believe that the EFI kit had the same or better performance for less money.

I have used the 034MS high output coil kit for several years without any problems.
However does EFIExpress sell a coil kit with the TTRS coils?
Do like the more stealth looking TTRS coils.Comment

I am currently fitting the RS4 coils to my engine. Its taking a bit of work as i am using a 7a cam cover. You have to remove the rubber boot, then the holes in the cam cover need widening for the coils to sit down enough to get onto the plug.
I am not sure what modifications need to be done when using other cam covers. I would imagine the rubber boots would need some chopping.Comment

You'd have the same issue with the 3B so the AAN / ABY would be the cover of choice ( which is ironic as i'm changing to 3B over ABY
)
