    Another non-start!!

Ok - s2 ABY avant was running, didn't stop or misbehave just refuses to start next day.

I've taken the lid of the fuelpump relay and that works, when cranking it pulls shut.
You can hear fuel circulating when you artificially bridge the relay.

Checked injector terminals with ignition on - no volts

Checked coil power plugs with ignition on - no volts

Checked all fuses in the main fusebox - all ok

I've pulled the ecu out of the footwell and visually there seems to be no broken wires or dampness

    So.....
Where do I go from here?

    Have you pulled fault codes?
    Hall Sender (Cam sensor) fault?

As an aside, great avatar! Any chance you could email me a higher resolution version?

You should at least have power to the coils with the ignition on. I don't know the equivalent for an S2 but for a C4 UrS4/S6 there is a fuse that controls power to the coils (and the holding relay in the ECU). Perhaps yours is burned out?

For the C4 UrS, it is the S64 one in the yellow holder:

Have you checked the fuses under the red cover with Moteur/Motor on it. I think position 28 is the supply for the injectors at least!

Where are the fuses for the ecu? If its the ones in the main fusebox there all ok.

Incidentally the car was converted to coil on plug with rs4 coils a while ago. I dont suspect the coils though as there is no power at the white bulkhead jpt3's.

Thats a point, where is that supplied from on an s2?

              Pull codes from the ECU.
See if you can connect to it at all.

It will tell you why it is not starting the car.

Also, when you say the fuses are ok, do you mean that they are not blown or that power is passing through them?

                    Tested all fuses - 0 ohm +/-

Not got a diagnostic lead available right now, can the ecu flash codes to the autocheck on check engine light on an s2?

Just a thought, i've pulled all the fuses one by one to check them, will that not have cleared any codes?

I can't see how you can have power at say S28 (injectors) and S32 (coils), but not down to the connectors.

If there is an issue with the power to the coils, I doubt that you will get a code, at least not a blink code.

Hmm...in my experience 0 ohm = no resistance = broken

Can you see inside the fuse?

                              0 = continuity! 1 = infinity! using a digital multimeter at least.
If we accept that there should be 12V at all the connectors to coils and injectors with ign on, then there must be power at those fuses.
