Faulty G62 sensor or wiring is known to cause this kind of behaviour. Is this car a 3B or ABY?

Why not share it here? The OE part is a lot expencier...

Hmm.. still has an irratic issue! With the N75 hoses connected to turbo, turbo inlet and to wastegate I´ll get over 2bar of boost :s The spring in the wastegate is an 1,5bar one and the adjust screw is max anti clockwise, the ecu is tuned for 1,7bar with the 1,5bar spring.. what could cause this high boost ?
When I have a hose directly from the turbo pressure to the wastegate everything works as it should.

Could the ecu been tuned with a 1bar spring or something ?

Does anyone running with a air press regulator connected to the upper champer in the wastegate? Is it worth it ? Does the boost hold a steadyer peak ? Any better spool ?

I do hope you pressure test it Thuppu
Have tested the leaks several times, last time after this latestest rebuild and found a leak, but it hadn't any effect on the idle. The idle isn't hopless bad, but it could be better, sometimes engine stalls after high revving if you step on the clutch.

How long should, lets say 0,5-1bar stay in the system when you pressure test the boost pipes? I can hear a small sssss inside the turbo for example.

Have also tested with two ISV's, but both was used and no difference...

0.5 bar should be staying there for 5 minutes easily, if you block off the breather when testing.

Can't belive it! It works, no stalling anymore, revvs goes down to idle nice and smooth, idles fine(except few missfires here and then). I changed the G62 today. Did buy a FAE 33030, not exactly expencive: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Audi-90-10...-/290532166356

If the sensor has an intermittent signal, and it is jumping around, then it can cause this.
But before changing it, can be diagnosed with VAG-COM.

Replacing it without prior diagnosis is usually not a very good idea, as 99% of idle problems are caused by different reasons.
