Any chance to get little bit higher this metal piece?Using a washers? I have 19 row oil cooler and the same hose fittings as a Rusty on the picture, but problem is that i couldnt fit there.Its no space and any clearance. Thanks boys

Hey guys! how are your cars running without the Aux rad?

Also a guy posted in the last page of fitting the OE location, is this still possible with the MGB parts? or where would I source that one?

Loads of us in UK run without aux rad, no problems with 400-500 HP.
I do have an alloy rad now but did 100k miles on a stock one

I did 500 miles in mine last summer when it was 28/30c. Stuck in slow traffic on the M25 for about an hour during that journey. I had no issues. The temp gauge rose a few times but I ran my slow speed fan by pressing the air con button a few times. The standard fan also cut in a few times in slow traffic but no hint of overheating at all.

You could always go for one of these that fit in original position

Just to revive an oldie and update people. Vidar no longer sells the OEM placement oil coolers as they had problems over time, I had two over approx 5 years and both developed cracks and leaked I had one repaired and sold it on, my replacement now has cracks tooI will now do this conversion as it is same price as getting mine repaired and since I've deleted my aux rad seems a better option.

With this kit both hoses are the same length.. so not the same as the setup originally used on the S2.

Important point newsh, I decided to use same length hoses, not sure why we need the 1/2 to M18 adapters cant see where they come into my fitting yet
