Also in practice most people running high boost usually keep it to high revs anyway. .
Not always, and if done, the budget permits rebuild after each race.
Maybe we should think on factors that get to bore/rings wear.
    -Heat
-Lubrication(honing patterns, ring composition for keeping oil on faces for lubrication)
-Number of cycles that rings pass a full stroke on the bores(rpm)
-Expanding gases pushing rings to bores. Some rings are designed to be pushed to bore and seal by their own spring force and less by expanding burning gases and some more by expanding gases and less by spring. And now we start thinking what rings do we use?Or the answer is simple:"good ones:wiseco,je,wosner, etc etc).
Now:What factors grow up together with boost? And in what percentage they lead to wear?
I just think with loud voice(in fact write) for my own documentation. Not wanting to prove anything to anyone.Just for my own knowledge.

You don't need to know what I know. My conclusions are my own. You have your own experience and value it. Stick with it. I'm not here to smother anyone's reputation or gossip. Each of us create an image of what we represent, what our motives are and where we are going with them.

I'd like to believe that every1 has the ability to form their own opinions about people.

And since this going way off topic, let the OP to back to his question

I'm just sorry we can't all do a group skype on here. We'd all have a great time, just like being in the pub with your mates having a beer and a healthy exchange of views.

As it is, my visual imagination is working overtime.

As long as there is no lasting impact from such a strong exchange of views, then "no harm done", apart from some possible damage to the hammer and tongs, and no I'm not tempted to now start a separate thread asking what size turbo to use on my S2.

Kind regards and best wishes to all.
