i will do that, i tried to plug in ecu from tt 225 , but didnt fit they have some difference drive ways to prevent using it in difference car i dont know why , i just wanted to see if vag com will see it.

Don't do that . Don't put an ECU if you don\t know that the pinout is the same.
IS hard to do that but : KEEP CALM and check the supply first !

it turned out to be dead ecu , what could kill it just like that? could a broken alternator belt cos this? i turned it on with 225 ecu and connected vag com too.

if i got ecu with imo , how can i disable it?

only thing that i can think would do that is broken earth strap.
or alternator over charged. see if the clutch pulley is still working. i think they have them on 1.8t just like a diesel.

              You said you "charged it".
With a charger I guess? Well then probably the charger was crap and overvolted your ECU, thus it fried - easy peasy.

the car was with a relative and he told me alternator belt cut off and he drive it till home , and turn it off normaly , when i come to pick it up the battery was strong but didnt turn on , he claim it was ok , so maybe he recharged the battery and put it in the car back.

clutch pulley is ok i inspected it.

Prj : its not my fault but no one admit how it become like that. i would charge the battery outside then fit it back. i inspected +V with ignition on and +v permanent and both earth all works , then i put the 225 ecu and EPC light came on and car started for 3 seconds and then blocked by immo , so i become sure that the ecu is killed.

the car had faulty coolant fan controler , and the battery was drained one week a go and they boosted it to start could it be the reason?
