We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
I have the loom as made by Alex (Error)and I can promise you its possibly the best upgrade I have done... Its so much simpler and looks OEM and is totally reliable!
What's the latest on these? Read tons of posts and Internet items but most seem to be five yrs old. General consensus is to go with 034 2.0t fsi kit? No huge HP, just the mileage (160k); seems a conversion may be a better option than replacing separate coil packs and pos units.
Does anyone have info on the COP's that Audi use? I'd like to know spark energy and duration for comparison. I ended up going with IGN-1A coils that claim a 103mj spark which is reasonably high for an inductive coil and is very close to the energy of CDI systems.
Shopping list for next month includes 5 coilpacks and a new o2
sensor. Any recommendations of supplier?
