I had a GFB fully adjustable BOV/DV and didn't get on with it so went back to a 710N, I think Rusty also gave one a try and didn't like it, really not worth that sort of money when a 40 Euro bit of plastic does the job perfectly.

As I understand it, roughly the air has still been metered in by the maf, so the ecu fuels accordingly, and then you dump the air out of the system and the ecu does not know. There is not as much metered air lost as with a purely atmospheric, but still not correct.

If you went MAP based standalone, or got a MAP based motronic map (PRJ) then you could run a dump valve.

Moving the maf to the pressure side, and have an atmospheric dump valve before the maf, then getting a custom remap would also allow you to run a dump valve I think.

Ok. Dont know why. But i cant quote anything. But what you are saying k simmonds. Then the 710n valve aint worth it? And wont the maf get messed up by the boost andy10v?

I would preferably go without any valve. But ive just heard that a Blow through MAF setup is REALLY terrible for the MAF's?

get a custom map where the maf can be removed.

Even then, if you remove the recirc valve, then you will shorten the life of your turbo, the oil coming from the breather system will run in reverse and spray all over the MAF, the readings will be incorrect and also the wire will tear eventually.

But, it's your car, you don't have to take my word for it. Go ahead and try. You might want to price up a new MAF before you do though - might give you second thoughts.

Get a decently sized turbo and run the 710N and you'll get some of the noise you're looking at. Atleast I get it.

The APR R1 recirculation valve is the closest I have heard of the sound you are looking for. However with no silencers it's unlikely you will hear it. It's very subtle. But it's meant to be unbreakable
