Note: Since the N71 and N80 are in the same area, it is possible for the colour blind to hook the N71 harness connector into the N80 and the N80 harness connector into the N71. The N75 is on the other side of the engine, near the front.

        Cheers Dave
Already bought a new ISV valve couple of months ago and it's on the car don't know why it's throwing up a fault code unless it's faulty.

I've got a feeling all three sensors may share the same voltage feed. Could it be a wire or even just a fuse??

Good catch newsh. You are right. I should have caught that.

Bilko what are thr codes and the explanation? Its possible they are ghost codes, eg codes that have been created accidentally by unplugging stuff with ignition on.

So he should pull the ECU fuse, S27, for a few minutes to clear the codes and then start the engine and run it for 5 minutes and then test again for the codes.

Constant power (memory power) goes into the ECU at Pin T55/18:

When mine flagged up those 3 it was just the fuse

Just pulled the fuse left it out for 5 mins fuse ok,by the way did another vcds check same codes being thrown up car is running lumpy and I have no boost at all and when I lift of the gas there is a bang it's sounds if it's coming from the rear like slack in the diff or prop but not when I just ease of the gas slowly. I have ordered a new n75 should be here by Wednesday will do another test when fitted also ordered an n80 valve another question does the carbon canister need to be changed or can it be cleaned. Also when I did a vcds check 6 months ago the code that came up was boost exceeded its limit which ties in with a faulty n75 as they normally come up together according to Ross tech.

What is the full codes explanation. Also why pull the fuse? Just clear codes with vcds.
Did you check the fuse for the 3 affected valves?

These are the codes I have

                          01262 which is N75( http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/01262 )

                          01257 - N71

                          01247 - N80

Can't find the explanation in the Ross tech fault guide for the last two codes.

My son cleared the codes but just removed the fuses as misunderstood reply in thread.

Does it give the explanation under the code. You really need to save them to a screen shot.
I suspect they will be saying short to ground. If so check the fuse then id suspect wiring damage as all 3 on same fuse.
