I forget who it is (Kit maybe) but someone has a Corrado on here. I read somewhere that the VR6 has a similar MAF to the S2.

Yeah it was me that mentioned it recently, but I was recalling something I heard on here on long time ago. I'm sure someone tried a VR6 MAF on their homefried ABY S2 and was happy with the way it ran, there was some argument as to whether it was a good idea the suggestion being it would cause the engine to run a point or so lean. If it's close enough to bolt straight on and work then could the ECU be mapped to suit it's characteristic's properly? After all there's plenty of 500BHP+ blown VR6's so it can deal with that much air.

This reminds me that I emailed Bosch directly about this a few months back to see if items could be reconditioned but I never had a reply. Will try and dig out the email and follow up on it but I doubt they would be interested.

I bought two from audi tradition,and gave them both a very good look over and came to the conclusion that they were new and never used,there were no marks anywhere.

Yeah brand new, date on it was 2009 IIRC so not new stock.
Yes you can order online from Audi Tradition but be prepared to smash at least one laptop or TFT as it is the worlds worst e-commerce experience!

Yeah the Audi Tradition site makes me really cross every time I have to use it, it's probably triggered dozens of panic attacks.

I'm considering this option, looks like it's a genuine re-manufactured Bosch unit, the white sticker looks right to me. It's the same company I purchased my Sachs racing clutch from, just the English language version of their site.
