monday i'm going to work on the car again and check some things like are my coolantpipes open from turbo
i also place a heatcover over the exhaust manifold and change my oiltemp sender
maybe move my oil and coolantpipes from turbo a little bit
i also thought maybe place a heat exchanger on the oilfilterhouse from a vw,it's easy to place and put it in series with the coolant pipe from turbo
i think this help for my oiltemp
you will hear the results next week

Today i have placed a turbopamper that I bought on ebay.de and made a heatcover for the exhaust manifold, it is attached around the manifold with springs
(the material was originally a large turbo pamper from a truck that I have adapted)
I also changed my water lines,the first piece on the turbo begins with a steel pipe for the heat around the turbo
I had a dump valve placed from 034 motorsport but was not satisfied with the flute noise that it made so I put back the origionele dumpvalve
i also placed a new oiltemp sender and temp sender behind the cylinder head
Wednesday i go back on the road

after a few weeks a update!
because my oiltemp was a bit high i placed a coolant oilcooler from a golf on the oilfilterhouse.
i made some custom tubes and a heatshield for the downpipe
i made one connection on the back from the engine and one on the upper radiator hose

also i drilled extra holes in my sump protection for better sumpcooling
i made a extra air-ventilation in the front bumper for a better cooling for the ic
now the only thing i must do is to swap the mat sensor with a 1.8t one from golf 4 20v
and reprogram vems a bit and afterwords i can go back on the road for adjustmens in vems and can i see how it is with the oiltemp again

Good initiative on the oil cooler, but did you not want to use a mocal item?

In the past on my mk2 golfs those coolers have a tendency to corrode internally and brake down, resulting in oil/ water mix. Giving the the impression that the head gasket has failed. I'd have bought a new one just to rule this out.

after all the changes I've made over the past three weeks, I finally made a testdrive with the car and the results were present
oiltemp was max 110°c while i was tuning vems with ve-analyser !
i going to make more testdrives and if everything stays okay i make an appointment for the dyno
i can make more power with ignitiontable but that i leave for the tuner and play safe for now
i also ordered an rs2 70mm alu radiator by vidar skotheim and that will be my next job
