0.9 bar with N75 connected, 0.5 bar with N75 disconnected. I did get it to tick over to 1 bar in 5th gear @WOT.
Fair enough, let's say I have a boost leak (making the test thing now), but how is it possible that nothing changes when moving timing by one tooth?
Boost stops at 1.4bar - N75?

Take the motor fuses out or disconnect the battery to clear the ecu.
And
Did you do this yet?
We need to know the difference in boost between N75 connected and N75 disconnected.Leave a comment:

Drive up to VRS at Northampton, 60 miles away fair prices and know these cars inside out
Best thing I've done so far

What i don't get is how by moving timing by 1 tooth it didn't change at all. If it was right the first time, then it should be running even worse.Leave a comment:

Kim Collins will cost the earth.
You would be better taking it to a kind forum member since it still drives and plying them with copious amounts of tea and biscuits (or alcohol depending on how troublesome it turns out to be)Leave a comment:

I opened a thread asking, but only recommendation I got was Kim Collins from this end of the country, and ideally like to sort it out before I am off to uni on 20th

Did you recheck the cam timing after the move, i.e. set the crank to the proper mark (at the flywheel through the observation port, by rolling the engine ahead, AND THEN recheckingthe cam sprocket to cam cover marks?
That one tooth should have made the difference.Leave a comment:
...ok, I am actually considering it. But I hate giving my car to people
