A quick boost leak test bung can be made from an empty baked bean tin and a tubeless tyre valve, then you just to be creative and find some objects the correct diameter for the other holes you need to block.Leave a comment:

Good to hear that yours has been sorted out
...and by the looks of it, mine has too. 4th gear WOT ticked to 0.8 bar. As i finish work quite late, will go home on 50mph road anf see what I can squeeze outta it.
Where can I get boost test kit, anyone knows?Leave a comment:

Just got back from VRS and I had a split hose which was brand new 1 month ago, leaks occur randomly and whenever they feel like it

, also replaced injector seals, spark plugs, which are not even a year old with about 6k on them, and a small vacuum pipe on the fuel reg. Good news is she is now flying, happy days

I wouldn't be too fussy about getting it set absolutely bang on; it may just make the car think you're driving around slightly below sea level!
Glad the info is helpful, it certainly helped me a lot

Wow. Did not know that. As I was reading, I was thinking, how did I miss this? Then I checked the date of the post. 2004. Okay, not crazy. I only showed up here in Feb. 2006.in fact here's the post that helped me sort my one out. its really easy to do if not a little fiddly getting the resistance correct (trial + error...lots of errors
)

Good info. Going to steal it and add it to my F96 post.
Thanks.

I got mine down to 1150ohms, see if it works, if it does, will take my time to set it to just under 1200ohms
Wish me luckLeave a comment:

Not sure mate. It might still be worthwhile 'adjusting' it so resistance between 1+2 is LESS than 1200 ohms (just a smidge). I set mine to 1180 ohms and regained my missing 5psi boost.

Thanks buddy. I've checked the sensor itselfin fact here's the post that helped me sort my one out. its really easy to do if not a little fiddly getting the resistance correct (trial + error...lots of errors

Across 1 and 2: 1290 ohm
Across 1 and 3: 2850 ohm
Across 2 and 3: 2400 ohm
That means the sensor itself is fine. But ECU isn't giving the right voltage to the sensor, is that it?
