Shame the knock sensor didn't fix it but it would have given you problems so good that it was found!

Here's another quick friday night thought for you. Get a fried to sit in the car and push the throttle down, then look at the throttle body and see if there's any slack in the cable, can you open the throttle any more by hand? Maybe the throttle is not opening all the way so you're not getting full throttle and therefore not getting full boost. You can adjust the slack out with the clip on the cable, at the bracket on the inlet manifold.

If you could get your car to me here I would leak test it for you.

These cars Can be a pain to get right, but the reward when they run right is worth it.
So don't loose hart, just bight the bullet and do as people advise. and you will get there.
Best of luck and keep at it.
That's some really good advice, as long as you don't throw stones/tools into your pipe work or try to make the system hold over 1.5 bar your really can't go wrong. Hell, even if your leave the PCV system connected by mistake the worst that can happen is that it smokes for a couple of miles.

I put mine back together very carefully with new parts where appropriate and I thought I had no leaks till I tested it properly and discovered a few small ones. Tweeked a couple of clips and hoses and the car felt all the better for it, it's now holding 1.9 bar and I'm going to test it again very soon due to the extra pressure on the system.

Yes maybe i am afraid, but i do not know if i am doing it righ, i might be doing it wrong, and think oh look no leaks. You told me there ahould be judder or power loss if there is a boost leak. And boost leak won't just appear over night, cos that's what happened.

Knock sensor didn't come up, i just wanted to re torque them, and then noticed it's gone. I'll check for errors.

Have you ever watched a dog chasing it's tail for hours and hours, it's the same as boost leaks without a test, nightmare I've been doing it for about a year now since my engine swap😳😣😔

... Of course that didn't fix my problem. I think it will be MAP, can't be the turbo. I can't do boost leak test, as i don't know how exactly and don't have access to air line.

Now it reaches 0.6 bar and that's it, no judder, no power loss.
