It's 1-3 the issues are not when it's fully under load, I've had enough misfires in my time to know that this isn't one. It's hesitant, I should have mentioned it happens more when fully warm.it will hold full boost all day long 4-6.
The coils and harness are brand new last week, the coils and harness that I borrowed were exactly the same.
I'm running a 1.7 bar boost setup, I've read many posts how these are good for over 500?
So it's hesitating at WOT but only in gears 1, 2 and 3. Load is more in the higher gears so a misfire would be more likely to show there.
But what is a hesitation if not a misfire of some kind? Is it the knock control pulling timing?
Is ISV clean and operating nicely? That's the normal cause of lumpy idle and start up strangeness, that and the dirty MAF connector syndrome, in fact have you cleaned the MAF connector pins properly yet?
If it was hesitating coming back on throttle I think I'd be looking for a small boost leak.
Have you still got a stock ECU you could try?
Am I right in saying the ECU ignores the Lambda at WOT anyway? At part throttle it adapts so can compensate for leaks and worn components but at WOT it runs on the full throttle map. I think that's right.

I believe 99.9% that that is correct. Prj or Paul N. to confirm 100%.

Yes - when load level (air mass) increases above a certain point (rpm related) then the ECU controls injection purely from the fuel map (with compensation for temperatures etc) and it stops trying to modulate mixture around the nominal AFR of 14.7
