Probably. The UrS6 cross over tube is also plastic and will split under the higher boosts that an RS2 turbo is capable of.

Do the URS plastic ones split? The later ABY and ADU cars have plastic boost pipe over the cam cover v the earlier metal ones.

I know the plastic intercooler ends are known to dislike high boost.

Yes it's the intercooler end caps I've heard of leaking.

The plastic end caps come loose where they are joined to the aluminum core. I have heard of people strapping them with heavy duty zip ties. Best to fit an UrS4 all alloy one & metal cross over pipe if you do not want to go front mount.
