max boost on my engine with a gt3582r

my engine have arlows rods and wossner pistons good for 800hp strength and my compression ratio is 8.0/1 so i wonder what is the max safe boost with my future gt35 turbo on the engine
in the past i've driven with a gt3076r on 2.0 bar boost
i've seen a s2 thread on the net with this turbo and he drive with 2.5 bar boost
i presume that this wil be safe when the intake temp -watertemp-exhaust temp and oil temp is in the limit on max load
also about the fuel,i have a single bosch 044 pump,siemens deka 630cc injectors and a fuel pressure regulator
woud this be enough to accomplish 600-650hp? or need i 850cc injectors
what is the max hp with 630cc injectors? i can put 4 bar pressure on the fuel rail

Hy Nick! Im running 2.4 bar on a gt35 size turbo.

And i think is beter to get bigger injectors like 1200cc ev14. And if you plan running e85 i would go even bigger. I have 1200cc@3.6 bar maxed out on e85

injector size is roughly hp on the 5 pot. so mid 600's

I ran 2 bar on my sc61 which is similar to a gt35 turbo. stock skimmed pistons. no issues.

I have same pump and same injectors as you. I run the 4bar reg aby. I had a bit more in it I think.

I feel this is where cams, headflow come into it. is the boost at the inlet or the chamber? can we get more air in more efficiently thus meaning less boost for given hp. or more hp for given boost.

i run with a precision 6262 like V6quattro, size is similar to GT/X 35. i have 2.0Bar with 1000cc injectors on 4bar fp. this year up to 2.5bar.


but Nick be careful with the Arlows Rods!!! i have seen these rods and some damadged engines. these are cheap china parts, the quality isn't good. rod-weight have big tolerance in some sets. i wouldn't run these rods in my engine with such a big turbo.

thanks for reply but the size off 1000-1200cc injectors is for e85,no? i drive on pumpgas oct 98
hopefully i can get 600hp on 2.0 bar boost with 630cc injectors on 4 bar fuel pressure
i will keep my eyes on max duty cycle from injectors on the dyno in the future

what's your idle rpm?

i run tesco 99 in mine.

think the ev14's idle better than what we have nick so you can go big and have low duty and idle good

I run Deka 830cc with 5bar fpr roughly around nearly 1000cc on e85.
The idle is fine if i set it around 890-900rpm.if i set the idle at850- 870rpm.
I got some erratic idle since my country is hot climate once the iat ramped

I was planning to run 750cc EV14s for around 450 bhp (500 max) @ 4 bar (ABY regulator) possibly overkill but was advised they would be fine for what I wanted...

had also Arlows rods in my Hand and my engine builder said he would not put it the engine... i think rods had 5g difference..

The Siemens630's will be borderline if using petrol and useless with e85.

I run 1000cc EV14 injectors on 98 octane, 3 bar fpr, single 044, no problems with MOT or ruff idle. I have 460hp in my engine.

The stroker fully built engine I am building for my urq will be running a gt35r with a 84mm billet compressor wheel. I am planning on a reliable 600 bhp on pump fuel and maybe closer to 700 bhp on m85. I have 1200 cc ev14 injectors.

Just check how much boost still makes HP in the dyno, when the turbo is maxed out it Will not make so much more power, mostly heat.. I use an gtx3582r an 2.7bar boost, enough to make 726whp... But above 2.7bar it only generated heat..
