Yeah I thought RS2 injectors were maxed out between 360/370 BHP....Yeah people have had higher numbers but dyno's vary a great deal and some people could be running dangerously lean...
I'm under the impression that Bosch 440's are the best bet for the 350-400 power range but certain tuner's may have their own preference.
The RS2+ Hoffer chip set my 3B is running provides a great deal of torque, he used to sell some cracking Turbo's and software, I wonder if he's got anything for the K24 7400? That's if he's still doing anything relevant as I've not seen him on here for a long time...
Getting the head done isn't a bad idea if you can afford it, making it more efficient will help the turbo spool up a little earlier as well as providing gains throughout the rev range. I think one of the reasons my car come's onto boost so early is the head work done by Brian Rickets way back in 1993 when it had the Nothelle conversion fitted.

Thanks John. Andy10v asked the question to Bryd 2+ years ago,who also runs the Volvo turbo what chipset he was using but as far as i can tell this wasn't answered.Just been looking. So who would i need to approach. There's the homefries but i always knew i wanted to go this route so who would be able to provide the chipset i would need. Would RS2 chips work for me?Leave a comment:

What injec/chipset for RS2+ power
If you want to buy a chipset then you have to buy the correct injectors for that chipset.
You also have to fit the correct MAP sensor in the ECU and possibly change the R201 resistor. Of course, turbo, manifolds and intercooler etc. need to be correct for that chipset too. There are tried and tested routes like the RS2 + setup which will work pretty well with a generic chipset.
On the other hand, if you're getting a custom map done then the tuner will set the map up to run with the injectors that suit your tune or that he prefers to work with.
Since no two cars are exactly the same the only way to get a "perfect" tune is to custom map on the dyno or in the car.Last edited by newsh; 5 March 2016, 23:55.Leave a comment:

Anyone got any suggestions who will be able to supply the right chips for the power and the set up i'm after?
I keep hearing about bosch 440cc injectors, would they be more suitable than a maxed out RS2 one? Would the 440cc injector flow too much or is it the case the ECU decides what flow is required and as long as the injector can accommodate required ecu fuel flow then there would be no difference in fuel consumption between a standard RS2 injector apposed to a 440cc injector at a given speed of for arguments sake 70mph?If you can understand what i'm trying to say?Me learning here.
If you guys recommend Bosch 440cc injectors would these ones be correct?

If you are using a generic chipset, you will need the injectors the chips are tuned for, eg PRJs AAN K247400 used 440s I think.
If you are getting a live map ask your tuner in case they have a preference.
RS2 injectors would work with the appropriate tuning.Leave a comment:

What injec/chipset for RS2+ power
I'm looking for forum advice on what is currently the up to date suitable injector for my upcoming Volvo K24 7400 conversion on the S6. Spec will be custom 3" downpipe,RS2 Evo RS Wagner exhaust manifold, custom intercooler with a suitable chipset, still not sure what to do for chipset or go for a custom map at say Automark. Advice appreciated on this too and with that lot bolted on running at least 350bhp.
I know it's an expensive option to get the head ported and flowed for the small power gains involved but if i were to do this i'm thinking with the set up mentioned would get another 25bhp on top with a very nice flowing head to have around 375 maybe 380bhp.Any injector you recommend needs to be right for the 350 to 380 bhp range.
Your thoughts please chaps.Last edited by Vorsprung durch Technik; 5 March 2016, 18:48.Tags: None
