You're saying the blue and white connectors don't work? Have you checked the fuse?

While this 1997 UrS6 plug looks like an OBD2 plug, it isn't actually OBD2 compliant (no C4 UrS4/S6 was OBD2 compliant). The actual pin-out is something like this:

Paul Nugent (S2Central.net) recently did a mini-group sale on these:

So had the car up for mot 2 nite first time in about 3 years or so ,I bought it last year and did every bushin & ball joints on the flippen thing as well as a ton of other issues so it passed at least
Outside mot center decided to disconnect mfts and c wat happened and guess what I have boost, so I'm guessing I have a faulty sensor, I'm also hearing fluttering from turbo I wonder do I have a issue with diverter valve
Hopefully this is progress , need to get obd sorted as well.
Without suggestions from forum members I would have tryed disconnect the mfts thanks for help.Comment

F76 Multifunction Temperature Switch R&R Info
On the ABY/ADU, the MFTS is connected to the ECU via pin 46 of the T55 ECU connector. Using this pin as a high temp alarm (> 119 C) - the ECU cuts off active boost control as a safety measure. However, for the AAN, pin 46 is not used.

If the MFTS is otherwise healthy you can simply reverse the R-pin out of the connector so the ECU doesn't get the error signal. Certainly sounds like diverter valve problem if you are hearing turbo go 'koochi-coo'.
I would check continuity from ECU pins 13 & 55 to the OBD eyelets in the fusebox. If wiring is good and OBD not working, then the ECU could be running some horrible chipset. Presumably the OBD connectivity problem is only on this car and not other ones - just to rule out a laptop, cable or handheld code reader.Paul Nugent

Replaced mfts and diverter valve both were faulty have now boost and no fluttering
From turbo, now to sort obd port is next up, idle is still up and down especially from cold
Tryed a secondhand. Icv ,seemed better 4 a while, back to hunting up and downComment
