Yessir, see the pics in my first post. My RS2 has the 2x2 connector and it works grand with a 2x2 adapter cable into the OBDeleven. I tested both a Ross Tech adapter and an inexpensive Ebay one. Both worked (not surprisingly).
You can see some live data above in ome of my pics (with engine off, so in the example pic, RPM and injector on time is zero)

I think I'll give it a go then. Thanks for making me notice what I misread before.

I just bought the normal version then realised output tests are in the Pro version. Hopefully you can upgrade from the free software.
I also need to find me an android device!

It's probably worth buying cheap ebay android tablet and holder for the car just for diagnostic purposes

I'd buy something like this. No point spending loads as it would be used to run 1 application. Not sure about the Maxx ECU though.

Yeah I was thinking something like that, there's Android 5.1 now too, is it worth going for latest OS?

If you can get 5.1, sure. If not, it shouldn't be a big problem. My phone updates but I see no difference.

There's this but 10" is going to be too big isn't it?

Just had a thought, 10.1 inch could be a tad big for in-car use, so it's maybe worth getting something more compact.

Some of these don't have Bluetooth, this one has https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/252436741325

Yup go latest, or expect to have connectivity troubles and it to run out of space in 18 months...

I bought this to do the rear brakes on my A6 as you have to release the Electronic parking brake. Wonrked a treat.
Like Newsh I bought the cheap version but realised that you need the Pro version to have control so activated it via the app and paid the extra via google pay. I havent plugged it into the S2 yet though.

Yep, you can do an in app upgrade to Pro version.
The upgrade is 25 Euro or so vs 19 euro when you buy the Pro up front.

I got the basic version since the 35 euro for that is right below the toll free import limit into Norway. The Pro would have had tolls and fees kick in and would have cost me 90 Euro.
I might do the in app upgrade to Pro later but for now I'm just gonna rack up a lot of fre credits by just opening the app and click on some ads. Something to do when on the can

I'm gathering the credits (you can get 6 free credits per day) to run the live data with the free version of the app (live data takes 6 credits per use on the free version but is included with the Pro)
