I understood you bought the car non runner... you hear the injectors click when you ground them...but you tried to see iff the injectors actually spray?
You can remove the rail and turn over..you should see the injectors spray.
If the car runs on easy start...i bet the injectors are soo clogged that cannot spray enough fuel to start.
Is nothing wrong with ecu or timing iff you have fuel pump on and spark.
I dont say timing is good...but...should start.

It certaintly should be possible to align them all.
The flywheel mark is the most reliable as it cannot move unlike the pulley due to detioration of the rubber.
Basically as I am sure you know they should all be on their respective marks statically.
It doesen't seem to happen as frequently on 3B's but its not unkown for the camshaft pulley key to shear due to people not counterholding the pulley when doing a cambelt change.
Might have a spend a little more time getting that spot on first.
Another possible but unlikely culprit is that somebody has changed the crank pulley to an aftermarket one which is known to have an error in alignment of the teeth of that magnitude.

ok....but iff the timing is out...no power to fuel pump and no spark. He has these...soo...timing is fine from ecu point of view..

There is another thing to check....with flywheel and cam marks aligned, remove the dizzy cap and check the timing there. Can be 180 degrees out. The ecu receive the reference signals ok but the firing order is completly wrong.
Dont asq me how i know this though..

            Yea it's all in line.
I have this oscilloscope now am guessing I can use this to check the timing on all hall sensors!?

The G40 and G4 are the ones to check first. The G4 blip should be in the middle of the 0V window of the G40.

Somethings not right it won't open the injectors. I have checking the crank sensor and I get a sign wave but it's no where ner the cam timing mark it's 3teeth off. Anyways what's the other timing mark the line about on the flywheel ner the (0)?

What I meant to say is the sign wave for the crank sensor is not on the fly wheel (0) it about 4.5 cam teeth out!

Don't forget the crank pin is at 62 degrees BTDC. Or so we are lead to believe.

Its hard to get a decent pic of the flywheel mark and its difficult to see but flick through this thread to see:

I would align the G40 marks with the camshaft dot and then see how far out from tdc it is on the flywheel.
Strange as it may seem but they seem to prefer being bumped over in gear in the direction of engine rotation to take out any backlash in the various components.
If you have a dial gauge you might attempt to establish TDC. Easier said than done. The flywheel mark shouldn't move so that must be considered to be the more accurate datum.

I am loosing the will to live with this car now am going to torch it soon!!
There is loads of pressure at the fuel rain but the noide lamp will not blink on crank up! It does blink once and tries to start which is more than I was originally getting but then stops!

I also read somewhere that the G40 also acts as the start of injection signal. The solution is the correct phasing of G4/G40 but whether its just been mistimed mechanically during say a cambelt change or there is puley damage is uncertain.
It certaintly sound like you have the same problem as that other thread with the waveforms.
Are you able to verify the G4/G40 sync with the scope?

Yes I k ow what you mean with the back lash it obviously doesn't like something Al aline the cam mark with the dizzy. I did read the other thread you sent and it does seem they aren't as accurate and must need a little playing about with.
