What can cause cutoff and no fault codes?

Oki, my cutoff is driving me crazy as hell.

I have tried so many things. But i dont get any fault codes and when cutoff has occured i cant get over 0.9 bar boost and it cuts off around 4k if i remember correctly.

Saw mihnea mentioning the distributer, will have to check this. But what else?

Changed items:
MAF
Lambda
ISV
All pressure hoses to samco
N75
Diverter valve (recirk valve)

Since i did this cutoff has only occured 3 times. Twice going uphill in 2nd gear and once in 2nd gear will racing from 1st-2ng gear happend around 6000 rpm.

Well you can check fuel pump also.

Is your a 3b or ABY. If 3b check distributor if ABY check coils.
I got cut-off because a faulty coil and another time fuel pump was going dead

Is the cutoff hard (like face to windshield type) or soft (like just loose power)?

the air temp sender on top of inlet manifold will cause probs at around 4k,you can check the resistance across it,i cant remember what it should be off hand,also check the wiring to it,ht leads and plugs may be worth checking too..

Yeah but the 4k limit is first after the cutoff occurs. But will check it out anyways

Well i get a cutoff at around say perhaps 6k rpm WOT. Then afterwards i cant get over 4k rpm or 0.9 bar boost. THink the cars goes into limp home mode.

I agree with the Quattronutter, i had sam problem last week. At around 4000 RPM computer was cuting boost and changing timing also, and ended up being the Air temp. sensor on top of the intake. Definately look at that.

I have had this before and it turned out to be the electrical connector which goes onto the MAF, the contacts were dirty and it was giving dodgy readings. Sprayed it with contact spray about 8 month ago and (touch wood) the car hasnt had a problem since.

Had the same issue with my 3b 200, dizzy was off by a hair...(thanks to Mihnea) for help on that ( dizzy set close enough for car to start, but boost cut back between 4k-5krpm, then comes back about 5krpm!)

Small minor technical hitch, Who needs under floor lighting when you have a glowing turbo and exhaust, i dont think it is a KKK, its maybe a street glow
