Very old thread, but do you have the P/N needed to fix the grill to the car. Those clips, they do not seem to appear in ETKA

I may be wrong but I think the clips are actually porsche parts, (there's 2 different types although they're pretty similar), check out vagparts I'm sure you can buy them individually , around £3 ish IIRC

Thanks, but Postal to Madrid for 3 pounds is crazy.

Car is at Audi and they could not figure how they were attached, as ETKA is hopeless.
I did send them this picture, but just to be on the safe side a number could be great.

Had a quik look , all I found was 8A0 853 64xx, (lower and upper positions)

Its hard to tell from the size of the image, but those clips look like the same ones used to hold on the grill badges

The upper and lower clips differ in width. There are 2 versions. And from what I heard, they are no longer availible..........:S

I have seen those clips on the kamei grille i think...

these look VERY similar to "tinnermin" clips used when fastening sheet metal parts together, although there doesn't appear to be a screw in the grill. might be a viable alternative though.

search for tinnerman and look at the U-shaped ones...should be catalogue page 3008....would link but you can't (or at least, i'm not smart enough)
