Aerowipers for LHD

I know it might seem like a stupid question but can you just buy the RHD A6 wipers arms and blades or does it have to be off a LHD car.

I have a left hand drive RS2.

I have checked Vagparts and they have these...

A6 98> aero wiper kit

yeah vagparts have both kits, pick whichever you need as you cannot reverse them for use on the opposite version if that makes sense as the base of the wiper arm is shaped rather than straight.

Hmmmmmmmmm, I would like to try this on my coupe, which is LHD, but am I right in saying the blades will be of different length for the coupe as opposed to the avant?
What will I need for this...
I have read some confusing posts about LH Lupo arms and RH LHD Lupo arms, with one Lupo wiper and one Passat wiper , but would like to know exactly what I should get......!

Lupo arms does not fit Avant/Limo LHD. Dont know fit they fit coupe...

But here you can see the difference between un-aeroed car and aeroed car

I just bought a set og a6 c5 aero kit, installed it but I see I need a shorter blade on one side.. 22" insted of 24", anyone else here that have done the same? What is your solution?

hey mate...try looking up the kit for a B5 A4 which will be more common I would think. That *should* work on the B4. Anybody else care to chime in?

Picking thru a boneyard (that's breakers to all you euro types) I found that the wipers and arms from a 2002 Passat (USA) were exactly the same lenghth as the the aero wipers that I purchased new from another source.

Then you will get the right arms AND the right length for LHD?!

I would like a set for my Rs2, but it's a bit confuseing to get the right ones!

^no, I tried, the vagparts wipers and A6 arms have different mountings....

Aero wipers for RS2 LHD
Source Vagparts.
Fronts, LHD 98 onwards passat.
A shortening of the passanger side blade needs to be carried out.
Remove cap grind correct amount off, also grind away a small amount on the edges, so cap will fit back on firmly.

Rear, Passat aero wiper, which has same lenght blade as oe blade.
Modifacation to plastic nut cap. File underside of cap so it doesn't fowl screen when clipped into position.
Job done.
