On the weekend I was bored so decided to paint the chrome on my ellipsoids like a few others on the forum.
Here is a little how to guide:
It’s a very easy straight forward process -
You just need a small pot of Black Gloss Hammerite and a couple of paintbrushes.
Avoid all contact on the Ellipsoid surface as this will leave smudges that show up when they illuminate.
Don’t mask of the chrome that you don’t want painted as removing the masking take after chroming can damage the paint.
If you do want to cover the chrome arias that don’t require painting you can paint on multipurpose grease with a fine paint brush. This can be removed afterwards with ease and will stop and over spill of unwanted paint.
