out with the engine tray underneath, hooked up a charger on the alternator cable that goes to the battery, then i got enough power to use the central locking

Silly question but did you try the lock to the boot?
If previous owner did not change the lock there then you could climb in done that a couple of times since my front doors can't be open with a key

i did try that one to, didn't work.
but now i have adjusted them to fit my keys
